Monks Park NorthWest London Gang

THE HISTORY OF MONKS PARK
Picture of the area https://www.pinterest.co.uk/pin/500392208597649908/
During the 1990's there has been tensions within both areas in the borough of Brent. A few individuals from Monks Park wold participate in minor crime such as vandalism and burglaries. They would use the St Raphael’s estate gang as scapegoats by pointing the figure at them to the point where CCTV cameras were implemented by the council, by the bridge and park area. The head teacher of Oakington Manor Primary School Mrs Silvia Lipson got involved and demanded the Brent council for the cameras to be implemented due to suspicion of gang activity.
Fast forward to the early 2000’s. The new generation of the gang consisted with leading figure heads such as Dunga and Beefy. No gang tensions among the two areas had been implemented, it was more of a community spirit getting along with one another.
The Mid 2000’S
During this time Brent council had finished constructing the, “McArthur Close” estate in 2006. In 2007 the estate was opened and major leading figure heads from different parts of Northwest (particularly Stonebridge estate) London came. This changed the area of Monks Park as the causing a major split between them and the St Raphael’s’ estate. Both Stonebridge and the St Raphael’s estate already had heated tensions between one another since the mid 90’s, which lead to unfortunate circumstances. As the TOS Thugs Of Stonebridge individuals moved into the Monks Park area it became known that both areas from then one had affiliations with one another which lead to the split and more alliances had been drawn. Monks Park was now affiliated with Stonebridge, South Kilburn and the Chalk Hill estate. But! At a great cost it lead to them waring with their neighbours St Raphael’s and their affiliates who have a history with all the other estates mentioned. Such as Mozart estate (HRB), Church End estate (ICB), Kensal Rise ( K.G), Kingsbury (TFL), Wembley Central/North (STA9) and Neasden (PRESS ROAD). From 2007 a leading figure in the Monks Park gang Craig smalls known as, “Smallz” he tied a bunch of blue bandana’s all over the poles outside the shops and write in blue chalk offensive remarks towards all the rivals gangs his area had personal problems with. He was the one of announced the declaration of war after the writing had been implemented, therefore drawing more attention to the public as well as the police. At this moment the main prominent figures in the area came from different parts of Wembley and Stonebridge estate.
The late 2000’s
Throughout the rest of the decade a lot of stabbings and assaults were initiated by both sides. A lot of fights were done public on both the trains and busses in front of innocent bystanders. In 2009 a handful of the Monks Park individuals caught on of the St Raphael’s members by himself, they dragged him to the park and stabbed him up multiple. Luckily he survived, but! This wouldn’t be the last of the stabbing as there were many more being carried out, schoolboys were being stabbed outside people’s houses in broad daylight on a constant basis. This provoked Brent council to set up a police task force who then patrolled both areas, too keep the public safe.
THE EARLY 2010’S
At this moment in time Monks Park's leader DUNGA went jail for a botched armed robbery: https://www.harrowtimes.co.uk/news/4858293.wembley-bread-knife-robber-jailed-indefinitely/This lead to Smallz taking over the gang and forcing more of the younger generation to continue the war he had started. A few music videos were done by both sides taking shots at one another:
Snipez ft Crises: ride out https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3NuEIh0Xkqc
Snipez ft Drowzee: Bang https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AxbEP-UEI3Y
Pupz ft Blacks: Murder Murder https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_OVPlHQs3HE
This also included a bunch of tit for tat arguments going back and forth on Facebook as members from both sides would take pictures of both their blue and red bandana’s posing therefore mocking one another.
Monks Park gang at this point consisted with a bunch of Youngers and olders who were inexperienced, they added more fuel to the fire; by disrespecting certain areas they couldn’t handle. This lead to certain individuals being beaten up, robbed and kidnapped for ransom. Individuals such as Vampz,Dirty,Knotz and others who had problems with the Church end and press road lot. A lot of the gang members went jail for various reasons. Such as, drug possesions, kidnapping and knife possessions. It was at this point Monks Park had too many enemies they couldn’t handle. So certain crew members decided to call for a truce with the rivals they were waring with and realized their war was petty. This is because they all grew up together. By 2012-13 the war between Both MP and SR had be resolved.
THE 2019 VENDETTA
When the rapper nines ended up getting stabbed in his face, thus almost dying. A month later, Smallz was gunned down by both Church End and St Raphael’s.
Footage of the murder: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1lCSS-2DtFM
This is because of many different reasons. He wasn’t involved in the nines attack, but due to his reputation ad his affiliation that’s what got him killed. While he was still living in Stonebridge Estate he violated a lot of the Church End members, then brought his beef over the Monks Park where he and his family moved to thus violating the St Raphael’s lot. It was one bad act after the other. The final nail in the coffin was during that very same day when he and an individual got into a heated argument inside the barbershop. Shortly after that same individual who argued with Smallz called Pacman “Darren Buchanan” (the boss of St raphael's estate at that time) he then orchestrated the hit on Smallz. Later on that same day, the same assassin tried to kill one of Smallz's friend, “Big French” in a botched hit in the Chalkhill Estate in broad daylight.

Smallz ft Big French : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k2_7WoqBuLw
The next day lead to multiple tit for tat shootings all over the Northwest London reign. One being a shooting in Kensal green done by one of the Monks Park members Knots. He tried to kill a St Raphael’s affiliated (GK CASANOVA) but didn’t succeed.
GK Casanova: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iNBgnyxxps0
He was later jailed for his crime days after. The shooting: https://www.kilburntimes.co.uk/news/man-shot-in-kensal-rise-survives-3819364
The individual: https://www.mylondon.news/news/west-london-news/wembley-thug-tried-ditch-gun-17766660
The next day another member of Monks Park Beefy he took matters into his own hands by wanting to kill Pacman, the individual responsible for the hit that had transpired. He and a few other Stonebridge individuals including Smallz’s cousin were looking for him. They spotted an innocent bystander known as, “Kwasi” who had no gang affiliations whatsoever. But! Because he bared a resemblance towards the person they were looking for he was unfortunately gunned down in the middle of the park, shot in the middle of his head.

A few days later all four members who participated in the botched murder were all arrested and a year later were given life sentences.
Article: https://www.standard.co.uk/news/crime/four-guilty-of-killing-man-in-park-they-mistook-for-rival-a4395781.html
After the two murders were done during a weekend of violence. Nothing as transpired for the worst in Monks Park. After the leading figure heads had been locked up, that was it for the gang itself, Now what’s going on the community is that there’s a lot of gentrification being commissioned.

Six Nine - Imformation

Daniel Hernandez (born May 8, 1996), known professionally as 6ix9ine (pronounced "six nine"), is an American rapper, songwriter and convicted felon. His music has been marked by an aggressive style of rapping, while his controversial public persona is characterized by his distinctive rainbow-colored hair, extensive tattoos, public feuds with fellow celebrities, and legal issues.[5]

6ix9ine became widely known in late 2017 after the release of his debut single, "Gummo", which was a sleeper hit. He subsequently released the mixtape Day69 (2018), which was supported by the singles "Kooda", "Keke", and "Gotti", all of which charted on the Billboard Hot 100.[6] "Fefe", featuring Nicki Minaj and Murda Beatz, the lead single from his debut album Dummy Boy (2018), became 6ix9ine's most successful single, peaking at number three on the Billboard Hot 100.[7][8] Despite negative critical reception, Dummy Boy was certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).[9] His first single since his release from prison, "Gooba", was released alongside a music video and broke the record for the most-viewed online hip hop video in the first 24 hours.[10]

In 2015, 6ix9ine pled guilty to a felony count of use of a child in a sexual performance, and received a four-year probation period and a 1,000-hour community service order. In 2018, he was arrested on racketeering, weapons, and drugs charges. He pled guilty to nine charges including conspiracy to murder and armed robbery in February 2019, and was given a two-year prison sentence after testifying for the prosecution. In April 2020, he was granted early release during the COVID-19 pandemic following fears over his vulnerability to the disease due to his asthma condition, and was put on house arrest for the remainder of his term.[11]
EARLY LIFE
Daniel Hernandez was born on May 8, 1996, in Bushwick, Brooklyn, New York City[12] to a mother from Mexico and a father from Puerto Rico.[13] His mother, Natividad Perez-Hernandez, came to the U.S. in 1988 to seek a better life and opportunity; she is also a diabetic and has had an operation on four hernias.[14] Hernandez played baseball and soccer throughout his youth, he was assigned to a major league soccer team at 13 but his mother declined because she didn’t trust a stranger taking his son at a young age.[15]

Hernandez has an older brother, Oscar Osiris Hernandez; his name is tattooed on the right side of his head.[16][17] Hernandez and his older brother Oscar were raised in a church throughout their youth. Hernandez would sing during mass and was selected many times to read the word of God, his favorite passage was Psalm 121.[18] His biological father left when Hernandez was in the 3rd grade. His stepfather was shot dead steps away from the family home in 2010.[19][20] Following the murder, Hernandez was hospitalized for depression and post-traumatic stress disorder.[21] Emotionally disturbed by the death of his stepfather, Hernandez started to act out and was eventually expelled from school in the 8th grade for bad behavior.[22] Rather than continuing his education, he started working at various jobs such as being a busboy and a delivery boy at a grocery store to help his mother financially.[23]

Hernandez also dealt drugs to supplement his income, most notably selling cannabis and heroin on the streets while working at a local Brooklyn bodega. He was eventually arrested for his criminal activities and sentenced to prison time at Rikers Island, where he began to associate himself with the Nine Trey Gangsters, a prison subset of the Bloods street gang.
Music Career
Hernandez first decided to rap in 2012 after meeting Peter "Righteous P" Rogers, CEO of New York record label Hikari-Ultra, when he came into the vegan bodega Hernandez was working at in Bushwick, Brooklyn and asked if Hernandez rapped based on his appearance, stating that he thought he had the image of a rapper and suggested that he rap because of this, along with Hernandez' cadence. [24] [25] Hernandez began releasing rap songs in 2014, starting with "69" in August 2014, "Pimpin", in September 2014, and "4769", his first collaboration as a lead artist featuring two rappers from the Brooklyn collective Pro Era, J.A.B. and Dirty Sanchez. Over the next three years, he released multiple tracks and videos with titles such as "Scumlife", "Yokai", and "Hellsing Station", drawing attention for his aggressive rapping style and use of anime as music video visuals. Many of his early songs were released by FCK THEM, a music label based in Slovakia.[26] Gathering fame as an internet meme for his rainbow-dyed hair, extensive tattoos and rainbow-plated grills, he eventually became an associate of fellow New York rapper ZillaKami, the younger half-brother of Righteous P.[27] They later feuded after Hernandez allegedly stole instrumentals and songs they had made together.[24]
2017 - 2018 Day69 and Dummy Boy
Poles1469", released in April 2017, featured Hernandez alongside Trippie Redd on YouTube.[26] Hernandez rose to prominence on social media due to a July 2017 Instagram post that went viral on both Reddit and Twitter.[28] Hernandez's commercial debut single "Gummo" was released on November 10, 2017, and eventually peaked at number 12 on the US Billboard Hot 100.[29][30] It was certified platinum by the RIAA on March 5, 2018.[31] His next single, "Kooda", debuted at number 61 on the Hot 100 the week of December 23, 2017.[32] On January 14, 2018, Hernandez released his third single, "Keke", with Fetty Wap and A Boogie wit da Hoodie, which also charted on the Hot 100.[33]

Shortly afterward, Hernandez announced his debut mixtape, titled Day69.[34] The mixtape was released on February 23, 2018, and debuted at number 4 on the Billboard 200 album chart with 55,000 album-equivalent units, of which 20,000 were pure sales.[35][36] According to Jon Caramanica of The New York Times, the tape was an outgrowth of the "SoundCloud rap explosion", and was notable for its willingness to deviate from hip-hop's prevailing sound.[37] After the release of Day69, two songs from the album, "Billy" and "Rondo" both debuted on the Billboard Hot 100, with "Billy" peaking at number 50 and "Rondo" at number 73.[38][39]

In April 2018, Hernandez released "Gotti", a remix of a feature he did for artist Packman titled "Got it, Got it".[40] The song's video was released on April 16, 2018, and involved footage of Hernandez donating bundles of $100 bills to poor citizens in the Dominican Republic.[41][42] The song was added to Day69 as a deluxe song and debuted at number 99 on the Billboard Hot 100 before dropping off the following week, making it his sixth consecutive Hot 100 entry.[38]

Hernandez stirred up controversy in May 2018 when he was involved in a shooting with the entourage of fellow New York rapper Casanova as part of a feud; this led to Hernandez losing a $5 million headphone deal and being banned from the Barclays Center.[43] After the shooting, Hernandez stopped releasing music for several months, before releasing "Tati", featuring DJ Spinking in June, which debuted at number 43 on the Billboard Hot 100.[43]

6ix9ine during a performance in Amsterdam in June 2018
In July 2018, Hernandez released his eighth single, "Fefe", featuring Nicki Minaj and Murda Beatz; the single debuted at number four on the Billboard Hot 100 before peaking at number three in its second week, marking Hernandez's highest entry on the chart and his first single to reach the top five of the Hot 100.[44] "Fefe" was later certified double platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America.[45] His subsequent singles, "Bebe" and "Stoopid", also reached the top 30 of the Hot 100.[46]

In September 2018, Hernandez signed a publishing deal with LA-based music company Create Music Group.[47]

In early October 2018, Hernandez was featured on the song "Aulos Reloaded" with French house DJ Vladimir Cauchemar and "Kick" with Danish singer Jimilian.[48] On November 7, 2018, it was announced that his debut studio album, Dummy Boy, was to be released on November 23,[49] but on November 21, it was announced that the album would be postponed.[50] The album was ultimately released without notice on November 27, on all streaming services.[51] Despite generally negative critical reception, the album became his highest-charting, after debuting at number two on the Billboard 200 behind Travis Scott's Astroworld.[51][52] While in jail, 6ix9ine was featured on previous collaborator A Boogie wit da Hoodie's song "Swervin", peaking at number 27 on the Hot 100, off his sophomore album Hoodie SZN. The song was released on December 21, 2018, alongside the album.[53]
