Wow - what a week. This is an extension of my DD series on GME. If you haven’t read them and have time, they will provide some background on my previous predictions, some of which have already come true. submitted by FatAspirations to wallstreetbets [link] [comments] Previous Important Posts
What’s happened thus farWhy did GME go up on Friday? The story here is more complex than paid media articles would like you to believe. GME has been driven up by 3 different forces:
Why did GME come down? Here’s where things got interesting for me, and something I think happened again today (Monday) when GME climbed up over 100% but then had a rapid reversal, closing 20% above yesterday but closing below open.So Friday looked like a slam dunk - gamma squeeze, no shorts available to short, puts were getting exceedingly expensive as a short tactic. What happened? This is my fan fiction, based on what I saw. I believe market-makers took a non-neutral stance and began actively shorting the stock after the second halt. Market-makers are responsible for maintaining liquidity and functioning in the stock market, but they also have abilities that others don’t - for example they are legally allowed to naked short for “liquidity purposes”. They also have the ability to halt trading. There were two halts in the day on Friday: First, when GME was up 69% (heh heh), and then a few minutes later when it kept climbing after the first halt was relaxed. Note that at the time of the first halt, the bid-ask spread was $10 on the underlying a huge signal that there just were not enough shares to buy. However, after the second halt, something strange happened. Whereas a few minutes prior, there were no sellers willing to sell their shares below $75, within 15 minutes after the halt there were sellers at 70, 65, 60, and 56. Where did these sellers come from? Incredible momentum reversal on Friday 1/22 to push the price not too far above the 60c strike price. My speculation? This was a coordinated naked short ladder attack. In this type of attack, short seller A sells to short seller B, who then turns around to short seller A at a lower price, etc. and with a very small amount of capital you can wreck the momentum of a stock and make people think that others are running for the exits. Notice how the stock dropped from a high of $75 on Friday to below 60 - the highest expiring SP for the 1/22 options, and stayed tight in range for the rest of the day. Now, for compliance reasons, MM are required to be neutral by EOD, so 20 minutes before close, MMs had to buy back all their short positions, which led to the strong close above 60. All this led me to believe that the real fair market price for GME was above $65. Without the market makers interference, GME would have closed higher. A repeat on MondayThe short ladder attack repeated on Monday.GME opened strong above $90, and quickly climbed to a high above $155 before it was halted, immediately after the halt, a short ladder attack again drove the price down Dejavu - Incredible Momentum Reversal after trading halts. Both days, there were rapid and significant reversals in momentum. Now, I kept wondering - why would MM’s take the side of the shorts? What’s in it for them? One theory was that they were not adequately hedged, with the low liquidity of the stock meaning that the price was moving up too fast for them to acquire the shares they needed to. But then the news hit today: A new opponent enters the ring:https://preview.redd.it/8htb0scgpkd61.png?width=926&format=png&auto=webp&s=228a8a84e592ea4642a61c5e07e07ae344ac8f2c That’s right, the same Citadel listed by the NYSE as one of their designated market makers is now invested in Melvin’s hedge fund and has a financial interest in the direction of GME’s share price. Hey media - you want a manipulation story? You’re missing the big one. Now what?Shorts have pulled new dirty tactics each time they’ve been pushed to the edge. Paid media attacks, Citron’s fluff tweet + coordinated shorting, and now they’ve got the actual people who get all the order flow on their side.On the other hand, GME is still up over 20% and now trading at $88.00 after hours, which is well above the previous day’s high. https://preview.redd.it/rr5qet4ipkd61.png?width=724&format=png&auto=webp&s=96d28bf446a714906712503726f5903a681d5368 What this tells me is that GME’s true price is still being suppressed. They are using every tactic possible, even changing the bid-ask spread rules on options to specifically target retail’s buying of options. We’re now playing the game against the folks who write the rules of the game. Some shorts may have covered today - with prices below $60 at one point they had some great opportunities to. However, there is no way all of the shorts who need to exit covered today. The short position still lost 20% from yesterday. They’ve got more fingers in the dam, but it’s definitely cracking. Also, every call option purchased prior to 1/25 is ITM and profitable, while every put option purchased prior to 1/25 is OTM. And, for some reason, the SEC still doesn’t want to enforce the threshold securities list for GME, where it’s now been on for more than 30 days in a highly covered “short squeeze”. https://preview.redd.it/rbrf6khjpkd61.png?width=936&format=png&auto=webp&s=7e4f432ff02dbf475a03cc68c54a5a0f5f0de429 Margin impacts:Note that at this point, most brokers have increased margin on GME. This means that people that are long or short on margin will need to put up capital to hold their positions. This also means puts will get more expensive as people who sell puts will have to maintain 100% of the notional in their accounts to secure the put, so MMs will have fewer retail sellers of puts to absorb the demand. That means it’s not a bad idea to sell puts to acquire shares if you’re aiming for the long-term and not the squeeze, but keep in mind you’ll need the exact same capital as if you’d bought the shares, so it’s up to you on this. For shorts, a margin increase while the price is moving against you (even with retracements) is no good. My speculation
Things to be careful aboutAs you can see, this is no easy win. I've been in GME for a few months but I've seen almost every trick in the book. In addition to the suggestions I wrote about in this post, here’s some things to be careful about.

We are back today with news about how the public test build has been going, new modes launching this week, a variety of Holiday themed events and content drops, and your usual flurry of feedback and bug reports. For you folks that love Hardcore, you have some brand-new modes to try today! https://preview.redd.it/0bsxp7wa05h61.jpg?width=1920&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=ff91a60e79de02d54d1e5e9f36252689349936cd First things first! Today, we’d like to give a moment of a silence to mourn for the players who picked Cordis Die faction in Fight For Humanity. You may be losing the fight, but hopefully you are grabbing a variety of rewards along the way! Keep up the fight and show those on Atlas that there is still time to even up the score. There are seven more days to go in this event and today’s task involves the newest modes, Hardcore Hardpoint and Headquarters. The Hardcore variants of these well-known and well-liked modes make it so that precision is more important than ever, thanks to a serious increase in damage to all weapons. Just a few well-placed shots is all you need. Try the Hardcore Hold Playlist and see if you are up for the challenge of Hardcore. We know many of you have had questions or inquiries about this over the last week, so we’ll start this community post with some updates about the public test build. Let’s jump into the usual event calendar first though! https://preview.redd.it/xcp7pbxc05h61.png?width=800&format=png&auto=webp&s=29ffe93a25fa1a889ffb3b260cd2fa3aa9350207 Here is a quick look at all of the new events starting today and others launch soon:
Just your weekly reminder that we have different Battle Royale modes dropping throughout many weeks of this season and this week we have Battle Royale Warfare coming up! That chaotic and action-packed mode has just launched, and the newest mode - BR Blitz will be back next week. https://preview.redd.it/tbzyy0rg15h61.jpg?width=1920&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=ce78a832137d4a1d09251cfc0f1d3d0358572da0 February Public Test Build #1 Thank you all of the passionate interest in this first public test build of February! Yes, we said first 😉. There may be more later in the month after this one ends, but we still do not have a specific end date on this first version and whether or not we launch a second one depends on how this first one goes. As of yesterday the public test build is officially full! You have filled up all 40,000 registration slots on both platforms and at the moment we do not plan to open up more for this first test. There have also been a variety of questions and concerns about this build so far, which we will answer below, but just a general reminder that everything in the public test build is subject to change. This content, whether it is something significant like a map or something less obvious like text on an item, may end up releasing in any future update. We are looking at you, Overkill Perk (hopefully this still releases someday). As it is a test, it may also be buggy, have half finished features, or placeholders. Some of this may be intentional, but first let’s speak about what is not intentional – movement changes. The following changes are bugs that will be addressed, and are not intentional changes:
Lastly, not everything in this test was available right at the start and more pieces of content will be rolling throughout the testing period. You may see more modes, items, perks, or general pieces of content drop in later. Keep an eye out and please report issues in-game there or through the survey. Gunzo – Clown Coded We’d just like to say thank you for all of the positive feedback around Gunzo – Clown Coded and the ICR-1 – Forced Laughter. Both of these designs were unique, not only because they were perfectly creepy, but also because they were full of intricate and delightful details. Details like the unnerving way the hair on ICR-1 variant moves or the way Gunzo’s voice actor, Jason Spisak, perfectly captured this newest version of the insane clown. We’ve seen the comments and the love, and we appreciate that you all enjoy these little details. The love for Gunzo has led us to make a video just to highlight him a bit more. Unfortunately, the draw he was featured in, the Social Disruptor Draw, is no longer active on the store, but we are sure he’ll be back sometime in the future and we’d like to share all the same. https://reddit.com/link/lip2k3/video/cyxpsowl15h61/player Seasonal Challenges One more week, one more community update, and one more release of two new seasonal challenges! This time around we have one challenge for MP and one for BP, and with them comes your chance to grab the epic blueprint the GKS – Kistune. Also, for everyone asking about the SKS that is still coming and will be releasing next week on 2.19 (UTC) in the BR Buff event. Run & Gun This six-part seasonal challenge is all about using different SMGs in Battle Royale and Multiplayer. Some require just a basic use of a specific setup in a match, while others may require you to get kills or win matches with certain perks equipped. It is all focused on fast and quick setups, and if you manage it you’ll be able to snag the following rewards:
Master Operator This four-part seasonal challenge is relatively simple with one clear goal - use Operator Skills and specific ones. This is the easiest to tackle challenge of the two new ones this week and while it doesn’t have an epic weapon blueprint to give out, it does reward you with plenty of Battle Pass XP (17K in total) and the following items:
With the Sweet Valentine Crate we’ve decided that anime is perfectly appropriate for the holiday and for Battle Royale. You can now roll into BR in style with a bright pink tank that will make your enemies stare in awe as you load a shell, aim your sights, and send them crawling back to the lobby screen! This same style is available for a variety of other BR vehicles. Check it out in-game now. https://reddit.com/link/lip2k3/video/gotd1dal25h61/player Next up, we have the Valentine Redux Draw! If you were around last year, like many of you dedicated folks in the community, you’ll recognize the two main items in this one: the legendary S36 – Phobos and Battery – Valentine. This draw comes with a variety of other items as well, most of which are based around the Valentine series of camos, and it will be available until February 25th (UTC). Find it in-game now through the store or lucky draw icon on the top left of the lobby. https://reddit.com/link/lip2k3/video/mt2yjz7m25h61/player Lastly, for those of you looking for something free dropping this holiday you’ll have to head to our global social media channels or participating content creators. On the day after Valentine’s Day, February 15th, we’ll be starting this event and offering gifts from the previous two content drops to whoever wins! Check back then and best of luck to everyone who participates. Lunar New Year Just like Valentine’s Day, this is the second time we’ve tackled this holiday for COD: Mobile and this time around we have both a content drop & a featured event available. The content drop, the Lunar New Year crate, primarily offers the epic blueprint AK47 - Year of Ox. There are a variety of other items, like the Quartz series of camos available in this crate, and it is all live now in the store. From the event side, we have the Year Of The Ox event. This event tasks you with getting kills through MP matches and in particular by playing Hardpoint, TDM, Frontline, Domination, and S&D. It has plenty of variety for tasks and the only rewards you can earn on this one are those Lunar New Year Crates. This event is only available for six more days, so make sure to grab those crates now. Carnival Last but not least, we have a small celebratory bundle available for Brazil’s Carnival. This vivacious and exciting festival runs from February 12th to February 17th in Brazil, and while we know it may be hard to celebrate in person this year, you can get in the mood with Outrider, the ASM10, Avatar – Masquerade, and Calling Card – Samba School. Check out that bundle in-game now! https://preview.redd.it/cxeuxp7p25h61.jpg?width=1920&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=464372c0d839c24f8d9b3c3bf316a6f2a366c686 We also have a special treat for our players in Brazil for Carnival, a unique Call of Duty: Mobile music video with none other than the fantastic singer and songwriter Jojo Maronttinni! Take a look at the Que Tiro Foi Esse Remix and happy Carnival: https://youtu.be/QLOTgeO_EHY Feedback Thanks to the over 800 comments last week in the community update and the large number of feedback & bug reports posted there. We’ll have some direct responses to those today. Just a reminder, but please check previous community updates for other frequency asked questions because they often come up right after we address them in an update (like when is Ghost’s voice is coming to CODM). However, there are still a few topics we’d like to discuss this week!
https://preview.redd.it/mdhtet4g45h61.jpg?width=6000&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=819e948cdff81e58acc62154040ef4859d58f5a3 There is so much on the way and so much to be planned for, whether that is brand-new seasons, exciting new opportunities, competitive gaming and tournaments, region based events, in-game events and so many other different ways we’d like to keep showing the world why this title is still a truly AAA gaming experience on mobile. The future is promising! This game is truly global now as we are available in the majority of the world through various versions, and the commitment to growing & supporting the game is just as strong as it was last year. We aren’t going to let up and we can’t wait to share our plans, new content, and excitement with you all! We leave you on that hopeful note and to all of those celebrating various holidays around the world this week – be safe and enjoy! We’ll see you next time. -The Call of Duty: Mobile Team |
Hello fellow retards submitted by PutsOnYourWife to wallstreetbets [link] [comments] I know these are difficult times for this sub and it’s almost impossible to post something solid which is not about the current meme stocks. Instead of jerking to some porn i did some research on PLTR and want to share my DD with you. This might be a longer text for your love dopamine level so maybe you should grab some your Adderall before. The following text might you give your eyes aids since English isn’t my native language. I will try my best. Palantir as a Company – the beginnings PLTR was founded by some people and one of them is Peter Thiel who worked alongside with our holy papa Elon at PayPal. As a payment-service they had concerns about money laundering and founded PLTR to tackle this issue early. The CIA also funded PLTR (they are always funding stuff like this – Siri as example). This actually might be the reason why people think that PLTR is a company which aggregates data and do data analysis for the government….but this is not accurate and not correct at all if you see the big picture. I will explain this point later. You retard still reading? Nice here some rocket emoji’s to pump your dopamine and keep you happy. 🚀🚀🚀 Let’s start with the DD First of all my POV is looking for a midterm to long term investment in PLTR. My valuation considers PLTRs current state and predicting from now on for the next few years.
PLTR basically offers systems to big companies/governments which import their data into these systems. PLTR doesn’t sends workers to the client to collect data and analyse it. They sell platforms. They got 2 Products called “Gotham” and “Foundry” You may think wtf is this guy talking about? Let me explain it in 2 examples: First example is Syria with Gotham. It was impossible in the country to know who the good guys are and who the bad ones are. I know u muricans only know yourself and the rest of the world is the “rest of the world” for you. But this wasn’t so simple in Syria you had many factions with different intentions and some of them were allies and some of them were enemies. The lack of information or the ability of recognizing and sorting these information’s are crucial in a war. PLTR solved the struggle with creating a map which provided resilient information for the marines so they can operate safely. Civil problems over there could also be fixed. https://www.mercurynews.com/2016/10/04/palantir-using-big-data-to-solve-big-humanitarian-crises/ Actually what the John Hopkins University does with the covid numbers and the map, is some sort of what PLTR offering with their solutions. There are rumors that the tracking of Covid and the vaccination will be done by PLTR. In their S1 Form PLTR describes it this way “Gotham, our first software platform, was constructed for analysts at defense and intelligence agencies. They were hunting for needles not in one, but in thousands of haystacks. And they did not have the software they needed to do their jobs. In Afghanistan and Iraq, soldiers were mapping networks of insurgents and makers of roadside bombs by hand. Gotham enables users to identify patterns hidden deep within datasets, ranging from signals intelligence sources to reports from confidential informants, and helps U.S. and allied military personnel find what they are looking for.” https://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgadata/1321655/000119312520230013/d904406ds1.htm#rom904406_11 The second example is about “Foundry” and it’s directly from the S1 File of PLTR (page 121) “An Airbus A350, for example, has five million parts and is built by hundreds of teams that are spread across four countries and more than eight factories. Companies routinely struggle to manage let alone make sense of the data involved in large projects. Foundry was built for them. The platform transforms the ways in which organizations interact with information by creating a central operating system for their data.” Both of these systems solving big issues with less effort. The arms industry as example would took billions for drones and stuff in Syria for the same job. The important fact is that PLTR does not spend so much resources for new clients they only have to provide access and support for their services and the client feeding the “machine” with data. The key point is to understand that PLTR benefits very huge from economy of scales. This is very important since their costs for additional revenue is basically flat while the profits growing exorbitant with new customers. They offer a software and platforms and not kind of services where they need man power. All they do is working on their platforms and improving it. https://www.reuters.com/article/us-palantir-ipo-breakingviews-idUSKCN26E3I2
https://www.nytimes.com/2016/11/10/technology/peter-thiel-bet-donald-trump-wins-big.html But this didn’t happened. Peter got cucked by the huge authority apparatus in pentagon. These dudes loves bureaucracy and they do it for a good reason. If you retire from your job in pentagon you usually get a high paid luxurious position at Lockheed, Raytheon or Bae Systems to make additional free money for your retirement. Many thousand people working in pentagon just to select and buy stuff for the government. They spending billions of dollars for purchases and then PLTR came around and said like „look guys we can do this job for a few millions instead billions“. Of course the arms industry was pissed and the pentagon boomers helped them out. PLTR got constantly scammed from boomers and didn’t get the contracts. This was also the „swamp „trump was talking about. https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2016-10-28/inside-palantir-s-war-with-the-u-s-army https://www.bizjournals.com/sanjose/news/2017/03/27/palantir-trump-army-military-procurement.html A fun fact to this matter: Before James Mattis got summoned as the Defense Secretary of the USA he was a general in Afghanistan. He ordered services from PLTR despite the fact the pentagon was against it. But the marines praised PLTRs software and valued it over the trash they used to know from the defense/arms industry. Processing img 2os8izwwe4h61... https://www.military.com/defensetech/2013/07/01/special-forces-marines-embrace-palantir-software Even with a James Mattis as the defense secretary, trump as president and regardless that PLTR does it better and cheaper than the arms industry, it wasn’t possible for PLTR to get the government contracts. https://www.politico.com/story/2017/06/11/palantir-defense-jim-mattis-inner-circle-239373 https://fortune.com/longform/palantir-pentagon-trump/ How it’s ended? Well Peter’s wife doesn’t have a boyfriend because Peter is the fucking boyfriend of their wifes. All ended at the court and PLTR won. All this injustice ended at the court. The judgements on these cases are true circuit breakers for PLTR. Not only because PLTR spent shit tons of money for law suits. The lawsuits were perfect uppercut hits on the arms industry and they ended some fraudulent behaviors and „best practices „in the government https://www.defensenews.com/land/2016/10/31/judge-rules-in-favor-of-palantir-in-lawsuit-against-us-army/ https://www.defensenews.com/land/2019/03/29/palantir-who-successfully-sued-the-army-just-won-a-major-army-contract/ PLTR will profit from a Biden who wants to decrease the military expenditures. They will get the job done and at the same time the costs will go down. With the recent judgements the door looks open.
Let’s talk about the market. The whole market seems overpriced but it isn’t tbh. Due to the low cost of capital there is no alternative than to throwing your money on stocks or on real estate. There is nothing with a solid interest rate around (not even in emerging markets). At the stock exchange like in 70s, the companies had to offer a return, a perspective which should be more attractive as putting your money on a saving account with 8% interests without risks. These times are gone since the 2000s. So before people discuss insane valuation they should check out the fiscal and economical policies. Now back to PLTR and why the price is difficult to set (cheap imo). First of all PLTR did a direct listing without an investment bank for their share offerings. Its lacking of the valuation which they usually would get through such a process. PLTR wanted to do IPO with Morgan Stanley but it was mess. https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2018-09-04/morgan-stanley-s-long-romance-of-palantir-pays-off-as-ipo-nears Morgan Stanley proved themselves many times as stubborn communists when it comes to valuations. I mean you guys remember their disgusting price targets for tesla like 100$ post split or stuff like that. These guys are very focused on numbers and I know it’s difficult to price in the potential and perspectives. But you can’t ignore these things for a fundamental valuation. If you want to consider these things in the price you have to understand the business of the company. This ended that one team at Morgan Stanley valuated PLTR with 5 billion while another team thought they worth 40 billion. https://www.bizjournals.com/sanjose/news/2018/11/14/palantir-ipo-valuation-morgan-stanley.html How is this difference possible and why is this happening? Because people don’t understand what they are valuating. This happened a lot in the last decade because the decision makers in these banks and many analyst don’t have any idea which metrics they should use on companies like that. They are using the metrics from classical industries on new business. They freaked out when Facebook was valued with 100 billion as IPO. Same with Twitter and in the last years it was Tesla. They said apple going to tank every damn year in the last decade. I honor Warren Buffet so much since he has the dignity to realize that he don’t understands something but at the same time he sees the potential and the trend. That’s why he hired 2 Chads who bought Snowflake for him. The transformation and the generation change didn’t happened yet. That’s why they try to use the metrics from Caterpillar on Tesla. Guys the whole market is mooning with the cheap liquidity. Pennystocks and zombie companies transforming into billion dollar market cap companies. Facebook as IPO had a market cap of 104 billion back in 2012. At that time it wasn’t possible for Facebook to monetize their users with selling ads. They just paid 100 billion for the potential in more difficult market conditions. Look at the IPOs like doordash, Bumble. I’m not going to call this a bubble. Just check out their business cases and use the metrics. Maybe its easier for people to understand Bumble and Doordash… On page 12 of the S1 (balance sheet) Form you can already see the huge positive trends in PLTRs revenue and their costs. All this without all the positive events and contracts PLTR recently got. PLTRs valuation is difficult and I think it’s miscalculated by pessimistic communist who don’t understand that their products are game changers for industries, governments and defense forces. Because of these points I think there is huge price potential for PLTR
As PLTR competitor people use to mention IBM. The boomers from IBM already surrendered with their Windows95 computers and decided to cooperate. The biggest threat would be big tech with big money like AMZN or APPL. You all now the stories about APPL and Spotify or AMZN and all the merchants. Even if the big players would step into PLTR markets it would be difficult for them since PLTRs products doesn’t rely on an Amazon store or on apple devices. PLTR is years ahead with their products. I think the greatest risk (still) are the boomerish arms industry and all the boomers in pentagon and other authorities. There are very corrupt infrastructures when it comes to decision making and assigning contracts. People fear changes but they can’t avoid the changes. With the recent judgements we can see a turn on the tables but the transformation will still take time. It’s a circuit breaker with an avalanche effect. The risk factors on page 16 on the S1 form mostly aren’t relevant anymore. People complained that PLTR wasn’t profitable for 18 years. Well PLTR was never designed to be profitable and Alex Karp once said “love us or leave us alone”. https://www.bizjournals.com/sanjose/news/2020/09/09/palantir-ceo-makes-livestreamed-pitch-to-investors.html But even this changed recently. PLTR became profitable in 2020 with 130,000,000§. Now the same people complaining about how high the stock price compared to the profits. Well just you wait.
https://preview.redd.it/qqcv8vzee4h61.jpg?width=744&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=98d264f091b7ff80926038660f43c57b87fc8ef2 https://www.sipri.org/media/press-release/2020/global-military-expenditure-sees-largest-annual-increase-decade-says-sipri-reaching-1917-billion With Bidens presidency we will see more disruptive technologies chosen by the government. Biden want to reduce the military expenditures. PLTR is able to provide better service for lower cost. Not only the recent judgements also the political change will help PLTR. Ironic if you remember that Peter supported Trump and getting his tendies from Biden.
“The systemic failures of government institutions to provide for the public — fractured healthcare systems, erosions of data privacy, strained criminal justice systems, and outmoded ways of fighting wars — will continue to require both the public and private sectors to transform themselves. We believe that the underperformance and loss of legitimacy of many of these institutions will only increase the speed with which they are required to change.”
A remember the recent examples? Bumble?! Bruuuh. Don’t get me wrong if you invested in Bumble but they have nothing special to offer and their business case can easily copied or improved by others. Its shows the current state of our market with the crazy liquidity that even zombie companies got astronomic valuations. Use these metrics on PLTR with great products, great management, low cost base and less odds as ever before…. PLTR price is wrong imo especially in this market and with PLTRs current state and perspective.
If all these information would priced in correctly we would have a share price of at least 60-70$. With upcoming and ongoing positive events PLTR share price should soar more.. What’s next? Now we have earnings ahead and the lock up period ending. For the earnings I think the number will be fine and keep up the positive trend on revenue with a disproportionately trend of the costs. The most important part will be guidance for 2021. We should listen closely and see if the magic is already happening. The second event is the ending of the lock up period. You all remember the end of the lock up period of Nikola? Just 1-2 days after they announced they don’t got the GM deal? The stock tanked – for a good reason. You know the guy Trevor Milton. But in PLTRs case everything is different. Despite the successful deals they got, does a guy who says “love us or leave us alone” sounds like someone who going to drop his shares at the first possibility? I don’t expect such a behavior from Alex Karp and neither from Peter Thiel. If some employees drop their shares it should be fine. I would appreciate if the stock prices would go below 3ß. It would create a healthy bullish chart pattern and would be actually a nice discount to get in or stock up. I don’t think that the shares going to dump a lot because of this event. The earnings and the guidance are more important and the key events if you want to invest mid – long term. What does all this means for you? Nothing! Please don’t do any market activity based on my DD. I’m just sharing my knowledge and looking for critics so I can reevaluate my theses. This is not a financial advice. My hearts bleeding for all the GME holders. My last Reddit account got banned because I criticized “the pumpers”. In one of the comments I called the mods gay and got banned permanently (bye bye 20 k karma). If you are new to this please don’t do any decision based on this so I can sleep gladly. I’m not well positioned and not trying to pump this stock. I have 70 shares and a CSP. Fair play and fuck all the bots and pump and dumper we recently got in the sub! Leave an upvote if this post helped you. I need some more karma to be able to shitpost everywhere again! |
Dev team: During production of Beyond Light, we started looking at the problems of bounty fatigue and FOMO, as well as Seasonal legibility (i.e., “What is in a Season?” and “How to I engage with it when I log in?”). We created a few goals which we believe will improve the experience:It’s always exciting when we bring a new feature online for Destiny 2. We hope that the changes detailed above make it easier to create goals to complete each week. As always, we’re eager to hear your feedback once you start finishing your first Seasonal Challenges, so please sound off with your thoughts!
To solve these goals, we are introducing a new pursuit type for players – Seasonal Challenges. The Seasonal Challenges live on their own page, are accessed through the Quest Log or Season Pass, and are separated by week.
- Provide a guide to new, returning, and veteran players for what to do today/this week.
- Guide the player through the Seasonal content, week-over-week.
- Encourage players to engage with complexities and nuances of the Seasonal activity and rituals.
- Reduce the penalties on XP and Bright Dust for missing a given week.

Here’s a quick breakdown of how this feature works:
In moving away from weekly bounties, which were restricted to broad objectives tied to ritual activities, we have taken more leeway with creating some interesting or more difficult Challenges. These may be things you are already doing, or things that test your ability. Some examples include:
- Every week, for the first 10 weeks of a Season, between 3 and 10 new Challenges appear automatically for players.
- Some of the Challenges deal with the Seasonal content.
- Others push players to complete strikes, Gambit, and the Crucible, or to focus on non-activity focused Destiny rituals, like gaining Power, unlocking Seasonal Artifact mods, or improving guns and armor.
- These Challenges can only be completed once per account, but once they become available, these Challenges can be completed at any time before the end of the Season, and do not need to be started or picked up from a vendor.
- As an example, if a player doesn’t play for weeks 2 through 4, they can return on week 5 and have all of those Challenges waiting for them!
- Completing each Challenge awards XP, contributing to your Season Pass ranks.
- Other rewards could be Bright Dust, Seasonal currency, or other interesting items!
Not all the Challenges will require that level of accomplishment, but the harder or longer the Challenge is, the more experience it rewards. Challenges that focus on the Seasonal activity and ritual mostly need the Season Pass to complete, but most of the ritual focused Challenges can be completed without the Season Pass. Overall, roughly 60% of the Seasonal Challenges do not require the Season Pass.
- Defeating Primeval Envoys in Gambit
- Defeating enemies in Nightfall: The Ordeal with Seasonal weapons
- Gaining Infamy or Valor ranks
- Acquiring the ritual weapon and its cosmetic ornaments
- Winning rounds in Trials of Osiris
- Completing a Grandmaster Nightfall
With the changes above, we are removing weekly bounties from the three ritual vendors (Zavala, Shaxx, and Drifter), Banshee-44, and the Seasonal vendor. These vendors will still have daily bounties which reward XP, and the three ritual vendors will still have repeatable bounties for those of you who want to pursue additional XP and Bright Dust.
Lastly – most of the Challenges disappear after the Season they were introduced, and anything that isn’t claimed will be lost. We don’t add any new Challenges after Week 10 – which should give everyone a few weeks to clean up any Challenges they didn’t finish. Any Challenge that rewards unique or Seasonal items (currencies, lore books, Seasonal weapons, etc.) – can be completed as long as the Seasonal activity is in the game, but XP awarded for completing the challenge will only be available during the season it was introduced.
Let’s Talk Bright Dust
Back before Beyond Light launched, we discussed some of the goals around the changes to Bright Dust. As a refresher, we wanted to change the way you earn Bright Dust and move more towards account-specific paths to give players with only one character significantly more Bright Dust than they've been earning over the last year. In Season 13, we’ll be continuing to move toward these goals by adding Bright Dust onto Seasonal Challenges.
Since you no longer have to purchase weekly ritual bounties, each of the strike, Crucible, and Gambit Seasonal Challenges will award between 75 and 300 Bright Dust. We are also introducing an end-of-Season Bright Dust bonus – if you complete (nearly) all of the Seasonal Challenges, we are awarding a single 4,000 Bright Dust pile.
Additionally, each ritual vendor challenge (“Complete 8 bounties”) awards 120 Bright Dust for each character who completes it each week. And because this is prompted by the removal of weekly bounties, the only Seasonal Challenges that will be awarding Bright Dust are the ones that both Season Pass owners and free players can complete. Here’s a quick breakdown of how much Bright Dust you should expect to earn over the course of Season 13.
Seasonal Challenges Bright Dust (All Players)
Season Pass Bright Dust
- Free Seasonal Activities – 6,000
- Seasonal Extra – 4,000
- Total – 10,000 Bright Dust
Weekly Ritual Vendor Challenge Bright Dust (All Players)
- Free Path – 7,500 (All Players)
- Paid Path – 3,000 (Players who own Season Pass)
- Total – 10,500 Bright Dust
Additionally, we still plan to offer weekly and repeatable Bright Dust bounties for Seasonal events, giving you a bit more Bright Dust towards desired rewards.
- 120 Bright Dust per ritual vendor, per character, per week
- 14,040 total if completing all required weekly Challenges over the course of Season 13
As a final note, please be sure to claim all Seasonal Challenges that award Bright Dust prior to the end of a Season. Once a Season ends, associated Challenges and their Bright Dust rewards will expire and can no longer be claimed.
Dev team: In preparation for crossplay, coming later this year, we’re making some changes to the Recoil stat. Now, we know it can be difficult to understand the scale of buffs and nerfs without having these changes in your hands. Not to mention, there will be some new perks for you to hunt as you start navigating content in Season of the [REDACTED]. As always, we’re excited to see these changes out in the wild on February 9, and will be eager to hear your feedback.
Currently, several weapon archetypes have their Recoil reduced by around 40% (dependent on archetype) when using mouse and keyboard. This results in an issue where players on mouse and keyboard are able to largely ignore the stability weapon stat, creating unintended discrepancies in weapon performance between controllers and mouse and keyboard.
The following weapon archetypes will have their mouse and keyboard Recoil adjusted closer to controller (reduced the difference from ~40% to ~20%).
In the case of Pulse Rifle, Submachine Gun, and Machine Gun, we will also be introducing some buffs. In some cases, these weapons will have less Recoil across both Controller and mouse and keyboard input methods compared to what’s in the game today.
- Auto Rifle
- Scout Rifle
- Pulse Rifle
- Submachine Gun
- Hand Cannon
- Machine Gun
We will pay close attention to how these changes play out when they go live, and plan to revisit individual archetypes in a future update as needed.
- Submachine Guns are largely outclassed by Auto Rifles at medium range, and by Sidearms at short range, with player feedback often mentioning how hard they are to control. To address this feedback, we’re introducing the following change:
- Reduced camera movement from firing a Submachine Gun by 24%.
- Pulse Rifles with the mouse and keyboard changes were kicking a little too much.
- Reduced camera movement from firing a Pulse Rifle by 7%.
- Machine Guns with the mouse and keyboard changes were kicking a little too much.
- Reduced camera movement from firing a Machine Gun by 9.5%.
Outside of Recoil adjustments, we will also be tuning a few weapon archetypes in Season 13. Looking through backend data and community feedback, we landed on the following:
Buffs
Nerfs
- Rocket Launchers have fallen behind other Heavy weapons in most measures of effectiveness, we’re pushing them more into a burst damage role.
- Increased Rocket Launcher damage by 30%.
- Exotic Rocket Launchers have been adjusted individually and are affected by this change to different degrees.
- Paired with the buffs to reserves from last Season, we’re hoping you’ll explode many more things in Season 13!
- Fusion Rifle usage is very low, and they feel like an unreliable choice in Crucible compared to Shotguns.
- Increased Fusion Rifle damage falloff start distance based on Range stat. (6% with 0 Range, 16% with 100 Range)
- Reduced camera movement from firing a Fusion Rifle by 9.5%.
- Breech Grenade Launcher usage is very low (outside of Mountaintop). We believe part of the reason is that the loop of "hold the trigger to arm, then release to detonate” is challenging to execute, particularly since projectiles can bounce off targets if the trigger is held
- Breech Grenade Launcher projectiles will now detonate on impact with a character, even if holding the trigger.
Exotic Changes and Bug Fixes
- While Sniper Rifle usage has dropped in Crucible, we’ve observed that it’s hard to challenge someone with a Sniper Rifle – even if you get the first shot on an enemy, they can often respond and win the fight.
- Increased ADS flinch to Snipers when taking damage from other players
- Swords are extremely dominant in PvE. At this time, 65% of players are using Swords for the majority of gameplay encounters in Destiny 2. While we are introducing a buff to Rocket Launchers to make them a bit more enticing, we feel that Swords do too much damage compared to other options.
- Reduced Sword damage by 15%.
Ah, and before we go – we are planning to take a quick tuning pass on Arbalest. This won’t be ready in time for February 9, but we are expecting to have this touched later in Season 13!
- Some Exotic weapons lose their buffs when you switch weapons, which is intended. They would also lose their buffs when pulling out your Ghost Shell, which is not intended. Fixed that issue on these weapons:
- Ace of Spades
- Tarrabah
- Hawkmoon
- Borealis and Hard Light now have a custom (quite short) animation for switching damage type.
- Duality
- Increased damage falloff distance by 1.25m (while both firing from the hip and aiming down sights).
- Reduced maximum buff stacks from 7 to 5, each stack now grants more of a damage bonus, extended buff duration slightly.
- Sturm will once again reload any equipped Special slot weapon on kill provided the Special weapon's clip isn't full already and there's available reserve ammo.
- Fixed an issue that was preventing Merciless from increasing its charge rate on non-lethal hits.
CRUCIBLE TOKENS AND FRAGMENT QUESTS
Due to the updates to the vendor progression system, Crucible Tokens and Crucible Token Gifts are no longer needed and will be deprecated into Junk that will delete as a full stack starting in Season 13. Additionally, current Stasis Fragment Quests will be deprecated at the end of Season of the Hunt. Players are advised to turn in all Crucible Tokens and Crucible Token Gifts and finish all available Stasis Fragment Quests before Season 13 starts.
KNOWN ISSUES
While we continue investigating various known issues, here is a list of the latest issues that were reported to us in our #Help forum:
